What IHG's own pages say
We found no chain-wide fee schedule on IHG's customer-care pages, which say hotels set their own policies. IHG publishes a Holiday Inn kids stay and eat free offer. We did not keep a saved copy of its terms, so we do not quote them here; read the current terms on that page. In general such offers are limited by the room's maximum occupancy, so a family of five should confirm whether the offer covers three children and any rollaway. We have no equivalent text for Staybridge Suites, Candlewood Suites, Holiday Inn Express or Holiday Inn Club Vacations, so we do not apply it to them.
What we could not verify
- Any dollar amount for an IHG extra-person charge or rollaway fee. No IHG page we could read published one, so this guide has none.
- Whether a given Staybridge, Candlewood, Holiday Inn Express or HICV hotel charges for a fifth guest or a rollaway.
- Whether a rollaway fits inside a given suite's published maximum occupancy.
One dated example from a non-IHG hotel
For comparison only: Rosen Inn at Pointe Orlando's own policy page lists a rollaway at $20 plus tax per night, one per room (re-read October 16, 2026). See the Rosen Inn page. It says nothing about IHG hotels.
What to ask, and how
Enter all five guests on the hotel's own booking page first; if the room rejects the party size, it is not an option. Then ask the hotel directly (not a booking site) and keep the reply.
Subject: Extra bed question for [dates] Hi, I'm hoping to book [room name] at [hotel] for [dates], for 2 adults and 3 children (ages [__], [__], [__]). A few quick questions: 1. Can that room be booked for all five of us? 2. Is there a charge for the third child or the fifth guest, and how much per night? 3. Would we need a rollaway or sofa bed, is it guaranteed for our stay, and what does it cost per night? 4. What is the total with taxes and fees, and what is the cancellation policy? Could you reply by email so I have it in writing? Thanks, [your name]
Checklist at booking

Quick answers
Does IHG publish a price for an extra person or rollaway?
We found no published IHG dollar amount. IHG's customer-care pages say hotels set their own policies, so ask the hotel for the fee in writing.
Does IHG's Holiday Inn kids-stay-free offer cover extra beds or a family of five?
We did not keep a saved copy of the terms, so we cannot say. Read the current terms on IHG's page and confirm with the hotel; this guide does not apply them to any hotel.
What does a rollaway cost at Rosen Inn?
Rosen Inn's own policy page lists $20 plus tax per night, one per room (re-read October 16, 2026). It is a non-IHG hotel and says nothing about IHG fees.
