Choose by schedule, not by suite size
The same family can make a different choice on a relaxed weekend than on a trip with fixed departure times.
Choose two bathrooms
TIME IS THE CONSTRAINTStart here when five or six people must leave together, more than one person showers in the morning, or teenagers and adults need private routines at the same time.
Closest comparison here: The Bayard (its page says “the bathroom” and gives no count) against Clementine (two separate bathrooms), both from the hotels' own pages, with different beds and sizes.
One bathroom can still win
FLEXIBLE ROUTINEKeep the one-bath option when the stay is short, showers can move to the night before, the group leaves at different times or the price gap matters more than morning speed.
Example: The Bayard Family Two-Bedroom fits up to six with bedroom separation, but its page gives no bathroom count (it refers to “the bathroom”).
Do not buy a bathroom that was never promised
CHECK THE WORDINGDual vanities can help two people brush teeth. Two shower areas can increase washing capacity. Neither phrase proves there are two toilets or two separate full bathrooms.
Example: IHG's blurb for Staybridge Greenbelt says its Two Bedroom Suites have separate bedrooms and bathrooms, while the room details list no bathroom count. A blurb is not a count.
Illustrative scenario
6:30 a.m., five travelers, one locked door
Picture an early alarm because the family wants to reach the park before opening. One person showers, another needs the toilet, a teenager waits at the mirror and nobody can pack the last toiletries.
The beds were never the problem; the room passed the occupancy test. The purchase decision is whether saving money on a single bathroom is worth starting every important morning in a line.
Illustrative scenario: an invented example of a typical booking problem, not a report of a real stay.
Exact room plans that change the answer
Every bathroom count stays attached to the room or suite that actually publishes it.
| Exact room or suite | Published capacity | Bathroom wording | Decision use |
|---|---|---|---|
| The Bayard Family Two-Bedroom Apartment | 6 | Not stated (the page says “the bathroom”: soaking tub and shower) | Bedroom separation; ask whether there is a second bathroom |
| Clementine 2-Bedroom Suite | 8 | 2 separate bathrooms (hotel's suites page) | Two-bath option with a full kitchen listed |
| Orlando Breeze Two-Bedroom Lodge | 6 | Two full baths (resort page); IHG's room page gives no count | Resort page and IHG page differ in kind; ask which unit type you get |
| Staybridge Royale Parc 2 Bedroom Suite, 1 King + 2 Queen | 8 | 2 bathrooms (IHG room card, read October 16, 2026); this supersedes the earlier October 8-12 record | Stated by IHG |
| Williamsburg 2 Bedroom Villa | 6 on the card (description says up to 8) | Description says two-bath; room details give no count | Treat as a blurb, then ask |
| South Beach Myrtle Beach 2 Bedroom Villa | 6 | Description says two-bath; room details (re-read October 16, 2026) show a "Separate Bath and Walk-in Shower" line and an Additional Bathroom field without a count | Treat as a blurb, then ask |
| Orange Lake 2 Bedroom Villa | 8 | IHG (read October 16, 2026): "two-bedroom, two-bath villa"; details list a bath-shower combination, a walk-in shower and an Additional Bathroom. Resort pages give no count | Two, per IHG; confirm for your unit |
| Cape Canaveral 2 Bedroom Villa | 8 | IHG (read October 16, 2026): two-bath description plus an Additional Bathroom; Oceanfront and Signature villas say two bathrooms with walk-in showers. Resort page lists a garden tub, no count | Two, per IHG; confirm tub or shower |
| Desert Club 2 Bedroom Villa | 6 | IHG description says two-bath, but its details list only a bath-shower combination and no Additional Bathroom | Conflict: ask for the count |
| Staybridge Greenbelt 2 Bedroom Suite | 8 | Marketing blurb says separate bathrooms; room details give no count | Do not translate the blurb into a number |
Which plan fits your family?
Decide what must happen at the same time, then open the matching exact-room page.
The hotel's own page lists the count
Clementine and Orlando Breeze list two bathrooms on their own pages (IHG's Orlando Breeze 1 King 1 Queen card also lists an Additional Bathroom). The Bayard's page gives no count. Clementine's and Orlando Breeze's are the cleanest numbers on this site.
See ClementineTwo baths plus a full kitchen
Clementine's page lists both. Staybridge Royale Parc's IHG room card (read October 16, 2026) lists 2 bathrooms and Full Kitchen for the 2-bedroom suite.

Two bedrooms, one bath
The Bayard separates sleepers into two bedrooms, but its page does not say how many bathrooms there are; ask before assuming a second one.
See The Bayard layoutDescription only
Williamsburg and Myrtle Beach describe two-bath villas, but IHG's room details give no bathroom count. Smoky Mountain's plain Two-Bedroom count is not stated on the resort page; its separate Signature Collection type says two full baths. Ask for the number for the exact villa type.

“Does the suite have two bathrooms?” can still produce an ambiguous answer.

Quick answers
Does a second bathroom raise the guest limit?
No. It changes whether showers, toilets and getting ready can happen at the same time, not who may register.
Do two shower areas or dual vanities mean two bathrooms?
No. Neither phrase proves two toilets or two separate full bathrooms; ask for the complete fixture layout.
Which pages on this site list a bathroom count?
The Bayard's page refers to “the bathroom” without a count; Clementine lists two separate bathrooms; the Orlando Breeze resort page lists two full baths. Staybridge Royale Parc's IHG room cards (read October 16, 2026) list 2 bathrooms for the 2-bedroom suites and 1 for the 1-bedroom suites. IHG's descriptions and Additional Bathroom details (read October 16, 2026) point to two baths at Orange Lake and Cape Canaveral; Desert Club's IHG description says two-bath but its details do not confirm it.
